Mountain Kunyu is situated at the east end of Jiaodong Peninsula, bestriding Mouping District and Wendeng City. Taibo, the main peak of the mountain, 923 meters above sea level, is the highest in the Jiaodong region.
    With beautiful scenery, the mountain is both a big zoo and arboretum, with nearly 1, 000 kinds of plants and over 100 kinds of birds and animals. Mountain Kunyu is a famous Taoist mountain, and its Yanxia Cave is the cradle of “Quanzhen School of Taoism”. There are molded statues of “Quanzhenqizi” at the cave.
